ATX Power Control doesn't work
Only on JetKVM for now. Support for JetKVM Mini comes in a later release.
If the ATX Power Control extension doesn't power on, reset or shut down your PC, the cause is almost always the wiring. Compare it with the installation guide as you go.
Check that JetKVM sees the board
In the web interface, click Extension in the toolbar and make sure ATX Power Control is loaded. With the PC running, the Power LED indicator under the buttons should be green.
If it stays grey, JetKVM isn't getting signals from the board. Push the extension cable in until it clicks at both ends, then check the LED PWR wiring in the next step.
Check the wiring
- Make sure the ribbon cable sits firmly on both the ATX board and the motherboard's front panel header, with the blocked hole over the missing pin.
- Check the case's cables against the wiring table, including + and – on the LEDs, and check that your manual shows the standard front panel layout.
Test the case power button
If the PC doesn't power on from the case button either, the wiring between the board and the motherboard is at fault.
