Install IP-KVM OS Services

1. Open the downloaded .tar.gz file to extract IP-KVM OS Services.
2. Drag IP-KVM OS Services to Applications.
3. Open IP-KVM OS Services from Applications.

The service asks Allow this KVM? and shows a fingerprint. Compare it with the fingerprint in the KVM's web UI, in the OS Services settings. Select Allow only when the two are the same.

Give the Screen Recording permission when macOS asks. If you miss the prompt, open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording, and turn on IP-KVM OS Services.

Then turn on OS Services in the KVM's web UI.

1. In Terminal, run:
   Terminal

   $ "/Applications/IP-KVM OS Services.app/Contents/MacOS/ipkvm-os-services" --uninstall-service

2. Move IP-KVM OS Services from Applications to the Trash.

1. Move the downloaded .AppImage file to where it will stay. The service starts from there.
2. Make it executable: in the file manager, allow it to run as a program in its properties, or run chmod +x IP-KVM-OS-Services_0.4.5_linux-x86_64.AppImage.
3. Open the .AppImage file.

The service asks Allow this KVM? and shows a fingerprint. Compare it with the fingerprint in the KVM's web UI, in the OS Services settings. Select Allow only when the two are the same.

The service also asks Allow USB access?. Select Allow USB Access and enter an administrator password. Then log out and log in again, so that capture works.

The dialogs need zenity. If a dialog does not open, use a terminal:

$ ./IP-KVM-OS-Services_0.4.5_linux-x86_64.AppImage --approve-kvm <fingerprint>$ sudo ./IP-KVM-OS-Services_0.4.5_linux-x86_64.AppImage --install-linux-access

Then log out and log in again.

Then turn on OS Services in the KVM's web UI.

In a terminal, run:

$ ./IP-KVM-OS-Services_0.4.5_linux-x86_64.AppImage --uninstall-service
